We've redesigned our site to make the definitions clearer and more useful, and to include new features that we hope you'll find both interesting and practical.

• Enhanced Definitions
  The core of these definitions is the same Merriam-Webster content we've always offered. To this we've added more example sentences, more synonyms and antonyms, and even a selection of rhymes. And we've formatted the definitions to make them easier to read onscreen.

• New Features
  Along with redesigning our Top Ten Lists, we've added two new features. Trend Watch highlights words that are spiking in our search results because of events in the news, and Word Well Used showcases an instructive and topical example of the kind of word you might want to use more often.
